Terms & Conditions

CONSENT, please read carefully: 

a) I agree to my son/daughter taking part in the activities of the club. 

b) I confirm to the nest of my knowledge that my son/daughter does not suffer from any medical condition other than those listed.  

c) I consent to my son/daughter travelling by any form of public transport, minibus or motor vehicle including lorry used as galaday float, driven by a club coach or any other parent attending, to any event in which the club is participating.  

d) I understand that the club or organisers accept no responsibility for loss, damage, or injury caused by or during attendance on any of the clubs or outside organisations organised activities except where such loss, damage or injury can be shown to result directly from the negligence of the club coaches or organisers.  

e) I understand that if my son/daughter’s medical information changes, it will be my responsibility to inform the club coaches of the changes.  

f) I give permission to the relevant official of Epic Elementz to make such emergency decisions as necessary with regard to the treatment of any medical condition or injury received during any activity until such time as I can be contacted. I authorise them to sign any medical documents necessary for the emergency treatment of the member should the need arise, and I am unable to be contacted immediately (including anaesthetics and blood transfusions).  

g) I give permission for photographs or filming to be taken of the club activities for use for promotional purposes i.e. press release, posters, social media etc. 

Participant’s code of conduct 

Epic Elementz are fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the well-being of all our members. The club believes it is important that members, coaches and parents associated with the club should, at all times, show respect and understanding for the safety and welfare of others. Therefore, members are encouraged to be open at all times and share any concerns or complaints that they may have about any aspect of the club with Jenna or Stephanie at an agreed appropriate time and not to the detriment of students in class.  

As a member of Epic Elementz you are expected to abide by the following club rules:  

  • All members must participate within the rules and respect coaches and officials and their decisions.  
  • All members must respect dancers from other dance schools and fellow club members and show good sportsmanship at ALL times.  
  • Members should be on time for training and competitions or inform Jenna or Stephanie if they will be late.  
  • Members must wear suitable clothing and footwear for training and events.  
  • Members must pay any fees for classes or events promptly.  
  • Members must not smoke, consume alcohol or take drugs of any kind whilst representing the club at competitions or other events.  
  • Members should treat the studio and all equipment with respect.  
  • Members must inform Jenna or Stephanie of any injuries or illness they may have as soon as possible.  
  • Members should not chew gum during class.  
  • Members must not use bad language.  
  • Members must remain within the studio until the end of the session and a parent/guardian has collected them.

Parent/guardian Code of Conduct 

  • Encourage your child to learn the rules and participate within them.  
  • Discourage unfair play and unsportmans like conduct.  
  • Publicly accept official’s judgements.  
  • Never criticise any dancer, coach or judge.  
  • Help your child to recognise good performance, not just results.  
  • Set a good example by recognising good sportsmanship and applauding the performances of other dancers/dance schools.  
  • Never force your child to take part.  
  • Always ensure your child is dressed appropriately for the activity and has plenty to drink.  
  • Keep Jenna and Stephanie informed if your child is ill or unable to attend class.  
  • Share any concerns or complaints about any aspect of the club through the approved channels.  
  • Use correct and proper language.  
  • Never punish or belittle a child for poor performance or making mistakes.  
  • Always collect your child promptly from class from inside the studio as students will not be sent down on their own.  
  • Support your child’s involvement and help them to enjoy dancing.
